Our new  brand design and website for insights company, Citizen, leans hard into the cultural anthropology work they do in the arts and luxury sector around the world.

We developed a statement brand identity – distinctive typography that plays against the striking backdrops of close-up, tightly cropped contemporary paintings and simple fields of colour, black and white.

THE CITIZEN IDENTITY IS LIGHTWEIGHT AND FLEXIBLE, ESSENTIALLY DESIGNED FOR A VERY HANDS-ON ENVIRONMENT – STRUCTURE AND GRID SYSTEMS ARE SIMPLE, TYPE IS MONOSPACED AND USES BASIC COLUMN STRUCTURES INSPIRED BY CLASSIC NEWSPAPER PAGE FORMS, NEGATIVE SPACE PLAYS AN OVERSIZE ROLE TO ELEVATE AND MODERNISE THE OVERALL VIBE.
